Missoula Quilters' Guild Members Honored

Missoula's Foundation for Community Health held its annual meeting November 3, 2021, electing returning and new Trustees and celebrating the work of our Foundation. We also recognized the recipients of our Distinguished Service Award.

This year, our Trustees chose to honor both an individual and a partner organization for their diligent work towards advancing healthy lives. We are pleased to acknowledge Leah Fitch-Brody and Quilts-4-Kids of the Missoula Quilters' Guild.

Leah Fitch-Brody is a public health advocate with a demonstrated history of coordinating outreach and education efforts, as well as facilitating task forces and coalitions addressing community health issues.

Quilts-4-Kids brings together local quilters dedicated to supplying handmade quilts to children in need of a "hug" due to distress or illness. The quilts are distributed through local hospitals, health departments and other agencies and nonprofits serving children. Thank you for your commitment to advancing healthy lives and surrounding western Montanans with comfort and care!
